Let me start this by saying, NO, I am not a Laker fan. I am a Chicago Bull Fan. I am an Oklahoma City Thunder Fan. I "observe" the Lakers. You can't help but see them. They get the most TV time, their Hometown is the entertainment capital of the world, and Last but not least, they have this guy on there team named Kobe.
I was never a big Kobe fan in the past. He had a bad attitude, he was arrogant and when he was beefin' with Shaq, i was ridin' with the Diesel.
But Something happened over the course of the last few years. I watched this guy Kobe not only mature, but elevate his game to Jordanesque levels. My respect level for his work ethic and play can no longer be denied. Kobe is the truth. No he is not Michael Jordan. But he is Kobe Bryant.
They say Respect has to be earned, and that is just what he's done in my case. I've watched this Guy have the focus of a trained assasin on the court. He's relentless, and you give him more than 2 secs to work, he'll get the job done. So hats off to you homie and the many Laker fans, Much respect from me.
But OKC is STILL gonna win when we meet you in the playoffs Next Year! LOL!!
And oh yeah... I said earlier You can't help but see the Lakers because They get the most TV time, their Hometown is the entertainment capital of the world, and Last but not least, they have this guy on there team named Kobe. But I forgot the MOST important thing. They Win. And Why do they Win?

What up... just checking with my people. Hope all is well your way. Well as "well" as it can be given the state of the world. In my world it's the same, watching people from afar, keeping an eye on the news, working on my Brand and trying to stay alive. It's funny that nowadays thats not just a saying, "Tryna Stay Alive". It's an actuality. So much shit is going on these days that if you're not careful, you won't be here tomorrow. I watch the news and hear about Home invasions, Robberies, Kidnappings, Suicides etc.. Every single broadcast. When I see that I always think of the SAME thing. What are WE gonna do. Have you noticed that Every single thing that happens today is based on the fact the Economy is SOOO Bad? People are killing and Robbing because they don't have anything, and all the programs that used to be in place to help those type of situations have been washed up and shut down. I'm not giving robbers and killers an excuse, I'm just saying there's more Robbers and killers today that are BY-Products of our fucked up economy. You've seen the Movie John Q right? Well even though Denzel Washington was a wanted man by the Police, he was actually doing the RIGHT thing. Well today that isn't a movie, that is the normal everyday life. People are losing their homes, and being given no option but to live on the streets. No programs. They are laying off teachers, police, closing hospitals, Trying to shut down unemployment. Is the Government CRAZY? Do they not understand they are literally gonna start a 2nd Civil War.
For those that don't know what a "civil war" is... that's a war within the same country. The first "civil" war was between the Northern States and the Southern States. The North Won, but the South still flies that racist Confederate Flag that represents all the states that fought to keep Slavery Alive.
But the next "Civil" War will be the Have's vs. The Have not's. The people vs. the machine.

Unless Obama's administration does something soon, I can see this world turning upside down. Shit, it already has if you ask me. Go to any real ghetto in America. Its a fucking Warzone. And that can only stay contained so long. You see over in Jamaica they're shooting and bombing the police right? There is only so much pain people can take. And you know the Crazy thing? It's not Just a "Black Thing". White people are losing their homes and jobs as well. They're being denied assistance too.
They are looking at the Government like "What the Hell??" too. Why do you think THEY voted for Obama in the first place? Lol. Shit had gotten so bad that even THEY were willing to try something different. They Bought into the "CHANGE" Just like we did.
But now we are all tired of asking... Where is the Change? Looks the same, Smells the Same, but feels worse. Now people are Demanding it. Did you see the video of Obama being called a "Liar" by a busrider when he was speaking to them? (CLICK HERE TO SEE)
People are hurting and America doesn't give a damn... or so it seems. While we're dealing with foreclosure, sickness, police shortages, hospital closings, job shortages, no programs for the kids, gang uprisings, rise in killings, urban warfare, higher prices..etc etc. We are watching them get bailouts, bonuses, pay increases, raise taxes, raise gas prices..etc etc. But everytime theres a crisis(Haiti, Oil Spill etc..) They ask for money from US??? Where is all the money they are already taking??
All I now is Something has got to give. Because people are growing tired of "asking" for help... What comes Next? You don't want to know. Watch 2Pac in the Video Below, and let him tell you...

Gary Coleman Died?? Whatchu Talkin bout Willis!?

We lost another Legend Yall. Gary Coleman, best known for his role in "Different Strokes" passed away.
The sad part is how hard his life was toward the end. He was ridiculed and made to be the butt of many jokes. So many in fact that he eventually said "F*ck it" and accepted the roles that were making fun of him, because he had to pay the bills.
Alot of people don't know that in the late 70's, early 80's... there weren't to many people Bigger than Gary Coleman, except in size. But not TV rating or Box office Numbers. So I put together a Lil' tribute on my site for all the fans and people that may not know about Gary. It's a sad day, but at the same time... Maybe Gary Coleman can finally rest... In peace. We love you man.

You remember the old days when TV wasn't all about Reality Shows?
Back when you couldn't wait to get home and catch "Rap City" and "Video Soul" or even "106 & Park" before it went pre-teen?
But if you remember like me, those shows were just the warm up, while we did our homework, or made us something to eat til our mama's got home... The Real Treats were at 7pm. Primetime.
I come from an era where that meant something. We couldn't wait til 7pm.
7pm meant The Cosby Show on Thursdays, or the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Family Matters, Living Single, A Different World, Martin... Can't forget MARTIN!!!
And all kinds of different treats that the Networks Provided Back then. Actually Scratch that, NBC provided most of them, except Martin which was on Fox and Family Matters (ABC). But the point is those shows were an EVENT. You actually got ready to watch them. That's not to take away from the shows of today, but it is different. With the new HD, 10,000 channel, DVR/Blue-Ray Generation, Everybody is watching a different channel, And the the programmers know this, so that don't base their programming on MASS appeal. They cater to niches.
Just like "The Golf Channel" (yes a whole channel about nothing but Golf), The Shopping Network, NBA TV, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central... and those are the mainstream ones. On Satellite TV you'll find even more "genre specific" channels.
What once used to be millions across the country watching the same show at the same time, in front of the TV with our families, has been replaced by watching it on Youtube, or on your phone. Catching it on your Tivo for later. But the Power of 7pm is gone. I miss those days. Times were so innocent then. Or at least they felt like it... These are just my thoughts and I type them as I think them, so they may or may not make sense to you, but I'm just reminiscing about back then.

That was Yesterday...

Well yesterday was a trying day for me. I don't really go deep into my "personal" issues like I'd want to because this industry is a beast. It will chew you up and spit you out. And most times the next person doesn't give a f*ck what you're going through. They just want hot music or shut the f*ck up. And if you REALLY Blow up then they get on some "hater" sh*t and try to tear you down. So in the Hip Hop Game, it's almost like you signing up to be destroyed.

That's just Hip Hop, now add to that "REAL LIFE" and you got pressure that's makes pipes burst. I've been going thru a lot of bullsh*t behind the scenes that has prevented me from being the force I know I can be in this game. For the past 3 or 4 years it's been constant BULLSH*T. Foreal. Not no petty sh*t either. And yesterday was no different. Imagine having to spend thousands of dollars constantly to clean up a family members mistakes. While at the same time trying to focus on a career that cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Imagine ALWAYS being there for someone who is Never THERE for you. And not because you want to be, but because you HAVE to be. Now make that person your mothe.. You know what. Nevermind. I'm gonna be alright.

I was raised to think that family comes first. Maybe it's a fault but that's what I was taught. And I was also raised under constant disappointment. Constant pain. Family issues. Anger issues. I guess that's why I turned to Music as a release. I also turned to books. I read Alot. ...ALOT.

Music was my medication. The only time I was happy. Sometimes it's still like that today. But alot has changed once I got into the actual "business" of music and saw the true colors of this game. I mean the exact minute you sign-up, you get automatic haters. You gotta deal with Liars, fakes, con-artist, egos.... you name it, it's in there. It's like the DEVIL himself runs the game. Have you listened to some of this sh*t lately? The same music that raised me and loved me when I needed that comfort, that knowledge, Doesn't give a f*ck about the kids today. Listen to the radio and I challenge you to find a Hip Hop song that's child appropriate. Sh*t, I challenge you to find one that's TEENAGE appropriate. If you do hit me up and I'll post it for the world to see. But I'm sure all you'll find is audio porn.

But my point of this post is, You never know what someone is going through. So when you see an artist you believe in trying, Support them. It's hard out here man. Sometimes the Hate overshadows the love because the Haters are Vocal and LOUD. They Scream the hate at you. They post hate comments, shoot out hate tweets.. etc.. Whereas the people that love you seem to assume you know already know and aren't as vocal. I love my supporters, but sometimes I need you more than you know. It's Just like having Home Court advantage in a Basketball Game. Sometimes the roar of the crowd is the lil extra you need to win. If you support an artist, Post it for EVERYBODY to see, every place that the haters dwell. Sometimes that's the difference in a good day and a Bad one.

I got a lot of thoughts going through my head, so I might have rambled a bit, but I had to get some of this off my chest. I do thank any and everyone that has ever taken the time to read what I have to say. Or listen to a song I have to sing. Or just patted me on the back and said "Good Job." That goes a long way. You just don't know.

I ran across the video below online and I posted it on my twitter(@FlyboyOState)and that was that. But then I REALLY thought about and I had to delve a little deeper into it, so here we are.
Ok first off I think the kid could be the next Justin Bieber, haircut included.

But seriously the kids got talent AND he's from Oklahoma!
But then when you see his song selection, and you think about who sings that particular song, and what SHE represents, everything falls apart.

If any of you reading this have ever played an instrument, a sport, or worked on a research paper, you know you have to practice over and over and fully immerse yourself into your project. Hours and hours of memorizing and repeating.

Now think about a 6th grader studying Lady Gaga's lyrics. Lady Gaga makes it a point to go against the grain (Lesbianism, Gay Activism, Gender bending, etc..)
And then think about the Parents that allowed this to be practiced and played over and over.

And the Scariest thing of All, Is that the SCHOOL allowed it to be played in front of ALL the rest of the KIDS as if to say, we stand behind Lady GaGa's image and message. Wow.

That's comparable to Me doing a rendition of 2 Live Crew "Me So Horny" or Sir Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" when I was a kid. And then performing it in front of my WHOLE school at an assembly. That would have been an automatic suspension, automatic ass whoopin at home and punishment for a year..lol.

But in these days it seems to be no limits to anything. Watch the video below and NOW think about it from that angle.

And if you think that's Something, you shoulda seen the 2nd graders version of Lil Wayne's I'm Single after him... lol.

I hope everybody that had to deal with the Tornadoes in Oklahoma are ok. I read that there were a few deaths. My heart goes out to those families for there loss. But as an Oklahoman myself, we all know how dangerous this time of the year is. So be Safe people!

Just like Most of us We are all still getting over the Thunder losing to the Laker's in game six a week and a half ago. But at the same time we are AMPED FOR NEXT YEAR!!! I can't wait. But I was looking at some videos from the past season and it's amazing how far KD, Westbrook, Ibaka, Green, Harden & the rest of our team have come... but I ran across the video below and LITERALLY fell out my seat and choked on my chicken bone when I saw it, especially the dude in the Laker Jersey at the end. Respect Your Elders ...They'll be Gone one day.

The Recent Passing of the LEGENDARY & Beautiful Lena Horne made me think about the fact that people actually DO get older. Now I'm not stupid, of course I already KNEW that. But Knowing and REALIZING is two different things. I mean we know that people get old, and people die. But sometimes we take for granted WHEN that will happen, and a lot of times we take for granted that it WILL indeed happen. And not just older people either.

For instance, If I was to die a few hours after I wrote this blog in some freak accident or something of that matter, the EXACT SAME PEOPLE that hate on me, block me from opportunity, talk behind my back, disrespect me... They would be the EXACT SAME people that would put up my picture as their default pic. There would be people posting my different video's and links, people would join my site if just to leave their condolences. There would be people that said we should've collaborated. Or the people that I have collabed with would push our song's EVEN harder. People would check out my songs and say how good my tracks were, People would finally respect that I was talking about something, etc..etc.. In other words everything I want in life, would come true in death.

A perfect example of that is Tupac. A lot of the younger hip hop generation don't realize that while Tupac was actually ALIVE, he was one of the most hated on artist in the industry. That's what led him to being so BEEF oriented. But after he was killed people went back, listened to his lyrics, looked at old interviews, talked to people close to him, and realized he was actually a GREAT artist, a potential LEADER and a Gift to Hip Hop. Which led to the image of the Hip Hop Messiah that this generation associates Tupac with.
Tupac never got to hear that while he was alive. He was labeled as a Thug, Rapist and troublemaker.

Did you get to see SNL with Jay-Z and Betty White from the Golden Girls? Well that was an amazing show, especially due to the fact that Betty White is 88 years old and still just as vibrant as ever. Late in the Show Jay-Z dedicated "Forever Young" to Betty White, which was a heart warming moment even for the most hardcore you could think of. And why, Because Jay-Z, even in his position of Power and Hip Hop Royalty, Respected his elder. Betty White has been a trailblazer, though in a different lane, it's still the same. And at the end of the day, being given credit for what we've done is all a person could ask for. Especially if you're still alive to hear it.

Back in Business a.k.a. Hater 101

What up Folks? It's been a minute but I'm ready to get this Blog jumping again. I originally stopped because my computer got a virus, and once it got removed, my browser wouldn't allow me to access my account. Then it just turned into me not even feeling like doing it anymore. I feel like what's the point sometimes. I look at all the work I do and all the work my team does but yet it's still ALWAYS an uphill battle. I get sick of all the lame ass people that spend ALL day hating on the next person, just because he or she shines harder. It makes my job even harder. For instance I just made a New Video for my song "Kevin Durant" and put it up on Youtube.
And after hundreds of post on twitter, myspace etc... from Me and my team, Guess how many of my "peers" helped me out with a Retweet, Repost etc..?

None. Now there was few people that helped out and I truly appreciate those people, but for the most part... NOBODY.

Everybody that Retweeted or Reposted are people that don't even KNOW me! (Outside of my team, of course.)
And my question is: I live in OKLAHOMA, I represent OKLAHOMA, The OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER are in the PLAYOFFS facing the Lakers and there is only ONE song out called KEVIN DURANT. So what's the part I'm missing? If somebody else had done it, I'd be helping rep my state by pushing it.

But that just shows you how anybody can scream We rep this and we rep that, but when it comes down to it... Every man is for themselves. Everybody wants to be the FIRST. So when somebody does something that could possibly garner them some attention, everyboy else is SCARED to let their 2 or 3 fans know about it. It's cool though. Foreal. I've been dealing with that my whole career, and I've never missed a meal. As a matter of fact sometimes I eat TOO much. So those type of people aren't stopping anything, except maybe progress. But who needs Progress? Right?

Oh, and By the way the Producer of the Song "420" out of Los Angeles hit me up and said that he LOVES the track and is hitting his people off with it as we speak. What up Everybody, How are you? Well after almost 2 years of not getting sick at all, I've found myself under the weather the last few days. It's not that bad though, because as soon as I felt it coming on I got soup, vitamins, juice, water,tea, humidifier & any anti-cold weapon I could find. It worked... kinda. During the day I feel 70%. But at night I'm down to like 50%. I doesn't help that it's been 20 degrees below zero everyday this past week. But it's cool. I can at least say my preventive methods worked and I should be 100% in the next day or so.

So while I've been getting my rest, I checked out some good info on this "illuminati" thing that people are so confused about. One day I'm gonna make a blog and explain what it is in simple terms because it's really not that complicated. It just seems that way. Besides that I've just been jamming to some old school (like I always am) Nothing like the Classics. Here goes one of my favorites.

I love that video. Besides being a MEGA MJ fan. I just like how they are JAMMIN in that one. It seems like Mike was happy during that time period. That was '78 right before the "Off the Wall" & "Thriller" years would change his life. But they hadn't and he was just having a jam session with his brothers. Peep the breakdown in the video too!

Outta Sight, Outta Mind...

Ok today I decided that It really doesn't matter to me who's NOT down with me anymore. I'm tired of always expecting at least the truth from people. We live in a time period where the truth is now optional. I live in an area where I paved the way for a lot of my peers, kicked down CLOSED doors, Represented Oklahoma artist on a consistent and hi-class scale, and because the last couple of years I slowed down a little due to real life issues. (More on that soon...) But I wasn't in the studio as much, wasn't dropping a Lot of music. I even took a break from the internet for awhile which was unheard of from me. But sometimes you gotta just step back, you get tired. The B.S, the lies, the shadiness... and in my case add to that Real Life issues within your family arise. Sometimes my "career" has had to take a backseat.

Things started going downhill for me just before the DIALTONE Videoshoot. Actually during the filming of that video I was going thru the toughest and worst part of my entire life. When others watch that video, they see us having fun. Being rapstars. When I see it, I see the Pain in my eyes. I see the darkness. But I have a responsibility to the people that support me to continue to ride, even through the mud. So I did, and one of the most successful projects I've been a part of went on without a hitch. That single could've went even farther in my opinion but thats a whole 'nother story. The point is No one knew that I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. And it was JUST Beginning. I tried to keep balancing the Music, and the struggle... but the Struggle started to win. The thing I had been in love with and put first FOREVER since I was 3 or 4 was losing. Pain was winning. I still tried to act as if I could handle both, I dropped a couple new singles, "IAMHIPHOP" "BRAG-N-TRUTH" I hooked up with Wes Fif on a track, just as he was leaving Slip -N-Slide records (Home of Trina, Rick Ross) I hooked up with Gangsta Boo for a single, Killa Kyleon of the Boss Hog Outlaws as well. I did some more biz with my boy Spark. I went in Cranked a few new promo bangers, "Weak Hearted", "Im what You Need" etc.. etc.. Did a little internet run with those to set up the bigger singles... and then, Disappeared.

I was completely tired. And the problems had not ceased. Multiple things, one after another. And you can't turn your back on family can you? At least that's how I was raised. But man....

Well now things are getting a lil better and I'm spinning the wheels again, but I can't all the way reignite the flame again because for some reason the TRUE nature of people shines brighter than before. N*ggas used to hate behind your back, but now they hate WHERE YOU CAN SEE IT!!! WOW. I don't know if it's this new twitter craze, or all these different rapper/actors that are lieing to the masses. Maybe it's the fast food. I really don't know. But I look up now and my own PEERS act as if I'm not a piece in the overall puzzle. As if my history don't count. I see it. All the time. But I get it.

Outta Sight, Outta Mind.

And I been Outta Sight. But the beauty of it is, I got thousands of supporters and real "actual" fans that hold me down even when I'm NOT on the scene. They help tremendously to Keep my name alive. They know I have something to say, even when I'm still trying to figure out Exactly what that is. They know my music is REAL. Not made up fantasies, funny gimmicks... REAL. Me and them have the same taste. I Love my fans. And in the past couple of weeks because of you, I saw a flicker... I think the Flame is re-igniting... Your support is re-lighting the fire.

You know what that means right?

Happy New Year?

Well it's finally 2010. Seems like just yesterday everybody was going crazy getting ready for the Y2K meltdown. And just like that... 10 years passed. It seems like time is flying by these days. Make sure you take advantage of each Moment because we don't get em back.
Speaking on that, Every year around this time people are motivated to lose weight, make more money, get a record deal, stop smoking, start excercising... etc, etc..
That's all good and well, but 9 times outta 10 by the 10th, they've already broken every resolution. So I say this year, don't put undue pressure on yourself. Throw away your "list". Just make sure that everyday you wake up, you strive to be the best "YOU" that you can be. Learn to accept the cards you were dealt and make the most of that. You get used to doing that, and trust me, you'll get a better hand. That is how you open yourself up for Blessings. There are no shortcuts, so don't waste half the year attempting them. Start the year by tackling whatever head on. This is what I'm going to do, and hopefully you'll do the same. I look forward to this upcoming year with excitement and anticipation. I have a lot of projects and different things I wanna make sure get out there this year, so hopefully when 2010 is said and done, we'll have some helluva stories to tell. Be blessed.

LeBron James wants NBA players to give up their No. 23s to honor of Michael Jordan.

The Cavaliers superstar, who has worn 23 since he was a high school sophomore, believes players should pay tribute to Jordan for the Hall of Famer’s impact on the game.

“I just think what Michael Jordan has done for the game has to be recognized in some way — soon,” James said. “There would be no LeBron James, no Kobe Bryant, no Dwyane Wade, you name all the best players in the league right now and the last 10 years, there would be none of us without Michael Jordan.”

James made the comments following the Cavs‘ win in Miami on Thursday night. The news was first reported by The Plain Dealer.

James said he has been considering the change for some time. He’s willing to switch to No. 6 — his U.S. Olympic team number — and wants to start a petition to get every player in the league wearing 23 to give up the number.

“It’s time,” James said. “He’s the best basketball player we’ve ever seen. Mike does it on the court and off the court. If you see 23, you think about Michael Jordan. You see guys flying through the air, you think about Michael Jordan. You see game-winning shots, you think about Michael Jordan. You see fly kicks, you think about Michael Jordan. He did so much, it has to be recognized, and not just by putting him in the Hall of Fame.”

Jordan sat courtside on Thursday when James scored 34 points to lead the Cavs to their sixth win in seven games.

“He can’t get the logo, and if he can’t, something has to be done,” James said, referring to the NBA logo that’s modeled on a silhouette of Jerry West. “I feel like no NBA player should wear 23. Nobody. If I’m not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it.”

The reigning MVP frequently wears No. 6 as a practice jersey with the Cavaliers. He wears that number because his second-favorite player is Julius “Dr. J” Erving and it holds other special meaning.

“I wore 32 back in high school because Dr. J wore it at first,” he said. “My first child was born on Oct. 6, my second child was born in June. If I’m not going to wear 23, I’m going to wear 6.”

I'm just checking in and letting my people know what's good.
I've been taking a break and doing some offline stuff and just getting things together for upcoming projects. I needed to take a break from all of this (Twitter, Blog, Myspace, etc...) for awhile anyway. So it's all good my way and everything is still forward motion. This next video is Charlamagne the God (Wendy Williams Show) playing a clip of a Lil Wayne interview where he says he's worse than the devil and he'd kill your newborn. (I'm not making that up..lol) But thats not even the point of why I posted it. See I have been researching and speaking on the underbelly of the "industry" for years and if you look at what's going on in the world, you'll see clearly that the plan that was put together to destroy our youth and make hip hop a useless tool is working. When is the last time you heard a MAINSTREAM (not underground)Hip Hop song that actually meant something? Or one that was for a cause? See what you aren't realizing is the "corporate" "powers that be" planned it that way. Hip Hop used to change things. Laws, situations... It used to be a tool that made the injustices around the world have to stand up and take accountability. Now they have you to believe as long as it has a catchy hook, and you put a dance to it...that's a hit. And the labels won't push anything other than that. Try to get a label to sign you if you are on some "save the kids" "say no to drugs" type sh*t. Won't happen.
So they have effectively taken our MOST EFFECTIVE TOOL, and made it completely useless. Hip Hop Doesn't change anything anymore. They have us in a blunt filled, syruped out haze, while they are making millions behind the scenes whether you sell a record or not. Don't believe me? Tell me this, how are record labels still standing when NONE of the artist are selling records? Think about it... they aren't in the business of selling records anymore. They are in the business of shutting us down. Thats why Common cant make money rapping, he HAS to act. And he's one of our BEST. So what's the problem? The problem is, he has a message. That's a No No. They can't shut us down if we hear the truth, so they don't let the artist like Common, or KRS or Black Thought (The Roots) shine. Hell they offered The Roots a highly paid gig at THe Jimmy Fallon show JUST to discredit them and dilute the "message". Could the Roots really spit some sh*t about the powers that be and the explotation anymore when they are down with them Every night on NBC now? That was trickery... and that's how they get us. Money. All I'm asking is that you open your eyes and see what's going on. They are making us strive to get a "hit" When we should be striving to expose their plan. But in order to see that, you must care first. And sad to say, most people that will read this truly don't. But that's what makes ME different. I Do. I'm by no means a perfect person, not even close. I'm as flawed as the next man, if not more. But what I bring to the game is the fact that I don't care to "fit in" and just do what everybody else is doing. I soul search EVERYDAY, and I hope that one day I'm part of the reason we get our music back so that we can re-program our youth, and get this world back under control. But until then the dude in the video below is who your children are following word for word. Aren't you proud?

Explosive Footage: Michael Jackson's 1984 Pepsi Accident (Hair Catches Fire!!)

The never before seen footage, which shows the moment a pyrotechnics stunt went wrong!!!!

As Jackson danced down the steps to sing his hit Billie Jean fireworks were supposed to explode behind him. But on the sixth take the stunt went wrong and the pyrotechnics went off too early – setting the singer's hair on fire.

Jackson was initially unaware of the flames surrounding his head and continued dancing in his trademark glittering suit for around five seconds before aides rushed on to extinguish the flames.

The accident is said to have started the late King of Pop's dependency on the painkillers that were found flooding his system when he died three weeks ago, aged 50.

Jackson was later photographed in an ambulance with a bandage on his head and his trademark sequinned white glove on his right hand. He required several surgeries and needed skin grafts to treat the injury.

The accident, witnessed by thousands of fans, came at the height of Jackson's fame, about a year after the release of his best-selling "Thriller" album.

In his autobiography, "Moonwalk," he described the cause of the accident as "stupidity, pure and simple," adding: "... bombs went off on either side of my head, and the sparks set my hair on fire.

"I was dancing down this ramp and turning around, spinning, not knowing I was on fire. Suddenly I felt my hands reflexively go to my head in an attempt to smother the flames."

As a result of the accident, Pepsi gave Jackson $1.5 million, which he donated to a burn center named after him.

The incident, which happened while filming at the Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on January 27, left him with second and third degree burns to his face and scalp.

Man if you don't know the story of what Martin Brashir did to Michael Jackson, you should definitely read up on it. But in a Nutshell he got with Mike and said he was going to spend 8 months with him and document it so he could show the world that Michael was a "normal" person... And the whole time he played the role like everything was cool... But then when he released the documentary footage, he had butchered the video and made it seem like he was "disturbed" by what he was seeing and that Michael Jackson was a pedophile that needed help. Michael Jackson's Neverland Home was raided THE DAY AFTER HIS DOCUMENTARY AIRED. Based on HIS documentary. It's a Good thing that Michael was smart enough to have his Camera Crew filming as well, because a couple of weeks later Michael Sent Maury Povich HIS footage and it clearly showed the lies and deception that Brashir had put out. Afterwards you could see that Michael was set-up. But it was too late, the public had already seen the first Documentary which was heavily promoted, and didn't pay as much attention to the "Real" Version because the media didn't push that one. And it led to the eventual destruction of Michael Jackson. If you REALLY pay attention you can see that the SAME people were on a mission to destroy Mike since 93, and they carried out scheme after scheme. From siccing Brashir on him, to getting those boys to lie on him and on to Taking Neverland and auctioning off his belongings... Mike was going through some serious sh*t behind the scenes yall...

Look at Big Money States like California Screaming Broke... Now we all know Cali is where the money is, and that cities is completely BROKE and in DEBT. So think about everywhere else. Imagine what it will be like when the cities you live in cant afford to pay the police, and they start sizing down the forces. You know where they are gonna start? Definitely not Beverly Hills.

They are already downsizing hospitals...

The Taped Phone Call the Media hid that Proves Michael Jackson's innocent!! He was set up!!

It's a lot of news out there that the Media doesn't push, like the fact that the investigators caught many people in lies that tried to cash in on MJ during the time he was going through his case initially. Or the fact that the ONE boy that they THOUGHT was telling the truth ended up getting caught in lie after lie and his father gave it away in a taped phone call YEARS ago. The media doesn't present you with that. So for years Michael Jackson has had his name in the Press as a Child Molester even though he was found NOT GUILTY in a court of law. Millions of dollars were spent to try and put MJ away, but they couldnt find one piece of evidence. Not One. And a lot of people don't understand that in MJ's whole life only two boys were the so called "victims" one in 93 and the other in 2003. So you mean to tell me MJ is gonna go through the WORST time of his life in the early nineties, get through it... then do it again? And on top of that ALL EYES WERE ON HIM anyway?? Impossible.
And as far as MJ paying off the first boy's family in 1993 (he explains it below) He paid off the "civil" suit... meaning if the boy's family had wanted to put MJ in jail for the crime they STILL had the option of doing a criminal trial. They just wanted MONEY. Because if someone raped your child, you'd just accept money?? Knowing you could put them in jail as well?? Michael was set up Both times. The first boy came out recently and admitted he lied. The Press isn't reporting that. Hmmm... and the second boy was found to be lying DURING the trial in 2005. But I guess they got what they wanted. The complete destruction of yet another Great Black American Superstar. And the sad part about it is. They get US to Help THEM tear OUR OWN down.
While their Farrah's and Elvis's get the Holy treatment. SMH.

In 1993 Michael Jackson got hit from the blindside with false accusations that rocked the world. His career never recovered. Legal issues, court proceedings, and ridicule by the press would eventually destroy the most creative and talented artist we have seen in this generation.
Oprah sat down with Michael Jackson right when the news that would follow him forever was just hitting the public. He had had so much success since the release of Thriller in 82-83 and Bad 87-88 that by 1993 he found the most comfort at home. Everywhere he went he couldn't escape screaming fans by the thousands. So he had actually started staying at home and being sort of a hermit. He hadn't given an interview in years, Very rarely seen in public, he had become a mystery. Then outta nowhere... The allegations. The interview with Oprah was groundbreaking, because it was Michael Jackson's attempt to show everyone that he was a normal person. It was his way of letting people see that "Neverland" was not what the news was calling it, it was his "escape". It broke viewership records, 500 million people tuned in. At the time the News was calling him a "freak" and saying Neverland was created to lure children. You can see in the video that Michael still had a little happiness left in this interview. He still believed in people.
But his life was about to change and nothing would ever be the same. Ever.
