A deranged Florida woman accompanied her son to a firing range where she blew his brains out before turning the gun on herself. Police say Marie Moore, 44, thought she was an “anti-Christian” who deserved to go to hell. She had a history of mental illness.
Moore executed her son Mitchell, 20, with a single shot to the back of the head while he concentrated on a target at the Shoot Straight range in Casselberry, Florida.
Mitchell slumped to the floor dying as his mother stepped back, placed the gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger. She died a short time later in a local hospital.
The bloody scene was captured on security cameras. “I look and I see this kid collapsing, spitting up blood,” said eyewitness Bobby Davidowitz, who was in the booth next to Mitchell’s.
“I’m so sorry. I had to send my son to heaven and myself to Hell,” Moore wrote in a suicide note.
In addition to the rambling suicide note, Moore left audio tapes describing the voices she heard in her head telling her to kill her son. She said she heard God telling her: “You have a gun. You can do it.”
“I have to die and go to hell so there can be a thousand years peace on earth,” she explained in the two tapes. (Video Below)

What a terrible story and a hard video even to look at. I wish she would have gone for help for the voices in her head, instead of taking her son's life.
