You think Racism is dead? Think Again.
Check out both of these Stories Below. They both happened in the State I reside in. I'm not gonna speak on it, I want you to form your OWN opinion, but What does it look like to you? Look at both sets of victims AND look at how in both cases, they are going out of their way to protect certain people. Just click the links and look.

I will have to start off by saying WoW! I can't believe that officer had the nerve to try to arrest the paramedic while he was trying to take care of that lady... That's some bull. And why did he have his hand around his neck like that when from what I saw that guy was being cool & calm at that moment... How messed up is that! they better fire that officer for what he did cause everything about the video I just watched is wrong.
ReplyDeleteNow let me comment on how this pharmacist had the nerve to do what he did. I mean I was on his side when he shot the boy once because he was scard and didn't know if he was going to get shot first but when he ran back in the store and shot the boy 5 more times and the boy was helpless WTF! now the pharmacist cross the line and that was pure murder. no matter how you look at it. and he should be under the jail I feel like he just wanted to shoot a black person because I feel like if it was white kids that had tried that the ending would had been so different. These are the kind of stories that always reminds me of where I stay... smh
Two very different stories but both very disturbing. If an ambulance has a patient in the back I don't care what the driver has done please let them take the patient to the hospital and deal with the issue after the patient is taken care of. As far as am concerned the troopers should be held accountable because what if this woman would have been in serious distress and died. Yes she is ok but still for them to take it to this point is outrageous. If the ambulance driver was upset and getting out of line with them its understandable THEY HAD A JOB TO DO. This is far past a lack of judgment. I think they failed at doing their job by not letting the paramedics do theirs! They should be held accountable and not be on the job.
ReplyDeleteIn the case of the pharmacist shooting this young man is just beyond words. Yes you have a right to defend yourself and he did that. The boy was down he could not harm him at this point, why in the world would you go back and shoot him not once but 5 times. I mean if your an outsider you would think he did it because of race. I mean I don't understand any other reason.
I am of the same opinion as Lucky...Why are these officers not being trained on how BETTER to handle these situations. Going back to your other post about the 14 year old boy who was nearly choked to death by officers...when was that type of force necessary? Those officers weight 200lbs EACH and the boy didn't look like he weighed 100 soaking wet!
ReplyDeleteAs for the officers harassing the EMT's while en route to the hospital for "failure to yeild"?! You're supposed to be on the same EFFING TEAM!!! What if that woman had died while the officers were wasting time?
The pharmacist who shot the boy...that is murder, no matter how you look at it. If he had time to run out of the store and GIVE CHASE to the other robber and then come back into the store and the kid is still unconscious, what reason did he have for shooting him FIVE MORE TIMES?!?! He allowed his anger to overcome his fear and REASONING, and he overstepped the line, by a mile...
This saddens and disgusts me, and it's happening more and more, for one of two reasons: 1) They don't CARE what the consequences are 2) They don't think about the consequences before they act.
This is why I am so scared for my daughter -- what kind of life will she have? What will be the "News" of her day?
Thank you, Flyboy for giving me an outlet to voice my opinion on these matters.
I first want to say that it shouldn't have mattered what kind of traffic violation the ambulance committed....that was an emergency situation and they were trying to get to the hospital (quickly). So for the OHP to pull them over at all was strictly uncalled for. Then they get physical with the black paramedic. He was looking out for the patient and ofcourse he was upset because they were being held up. But that entire situation shouldn't have happened. What if the lady had died? I know of a situtation just like this where a doctor was supposed to operate on a patient but the doctor was stopped in the hospital parking lot by a police officer who said the doctor made an illegal turn. The doctor was trying to explain to the officer that he was needed to perform emergency surgery. To make a long story short the patient (a teen) ended up dying because the doctor didn't make it to the ER on time. The parents sued that police department and won $10 million. Fortunately, this incident didn't have the same results.
ReplyDeleteThen the pharmacist shooting that kid after he was shot in the head????? Come on, it's obvious he was not trying to protect himself after the first gunshot. He point blank wanted to make sure he killed the black kid. These incidents are not isolated. People like to say how far we've come, but have we really come that far? Sure we have a black president, but that doesn't erase all the racism that surrounds us everyday. Sometimes the racism is just not as evident as this shooting. But it's definitely there...I see it all the time. In my previous workplace I had coined a phrase (due to all the racism that I saw)....... "Black is Wack, White is Right"....
People might need to pay attention to these stories, because they are happening more often. It's almost as if history is reverting, but we are blinded by lies and can't see it...
